IoT engineer/ IoT Technical

From XTA, we are looking for a person with experience in implementing IoT projects. If you are passionate about networks and telecommunications, have a degree in IT or telecommunications, and have project management experience in a related field, we are looking for you!
In this position you will be responsible for comprehensively managing IoT projects, from the planning phase to the entire implementation.
The tasks you will perform within the team will be:
– Programming and installation of PLC
– Detection of new needs and functional requirements to carry out new projects.
– Analysis and definition of needs and possible solutions to problems that may arise.
– Identification of the equipment and elements that will be needed.
– Technical development of the project.
– Contact with suppliers to select the most suitable material and technology.
– Stakeout visits on site prior to installation and during installation.
– Communication with the client, in coordination with the area manager.
– Lead follow-up meetings with the area manager.
– Preparation of technical proposal to submit to public tenders.
– Various benchmarks, to find new equipment, new developments in the sector, etc.
– Participation and visit to sector fairs to recruit new suppliers and look for the latest news.
– And all the ones you want to contribute!
We are looking for an experienced project technician with a comprehensive view of project management, who has the ability to carry them out autonomously, with critical analysis and skills to coordinate with clients.
Our team appreciates that you are a restless person, eager to bring new ideas and innovations to incorporate into the solutions we will build together.
What we offer you:
– Permanent contract.
– Full-time, from Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., with an hour for lunch.
– Salary depending on value, between €21,600 and €27,600

Minimum requirements
– Technician in the field of technology, electricity, automation and programming; or university studies: computer engineering, telecommunications, electronics, automatic or similar.
– Languages: native Catalan and Spanish. English mastery of the language specific to the position.
– 2 years of experience in a similar position..
Qualifications
Degree in IT or telecommunications areas
Knowledge and skills
You will be the ideal candidate if you know most of these methodologies:
– PLC Programming.
– IoT ecosystem (MQTT, Lora, Zigbee, Sigfox, AWS, ModBUS, etc…)
– SQL & Influx DB
– Testing and QA
– Agile methodologies
– Electrical installations
– Big Data & Data Science
